Raleigh HVAC company solves member’s maintenance plan woes
I purchased a maintenance plan with Yellow Dot Heating & Air Conditioning of Raleigh after having them perform satisfactory service. However, I now have no heat!
I’ve called them several times, and haven’t heard back. The inside temperature in my house is 50 degrees. Their unresponsiveness is unacceptable.
I would like a refund for the maintenance plan — $149.

We sincerely apologize for not meeting your heating needs. We strive to meet or exceed each of our customer’s expectations whenever possible. Clearly this time we were not able to do so.
We submitted a request to our accounting department for a full refund of your maintenance agreement.
When the weather rises above 98 degrees or falls below freezing as it did at this time, our call volume increases. Unfortunately, this increase may have affected our ability to answer your call in a timely manner. While we do not feel this is an excuse, we hope that you will allow us another chance to earn your business.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
