Quallity workmanship marks Atlanta area tiling projects
Atlanta Tile Services Inc. | 770-971-9100
Sandy Buhler appreciated Atlanta Tile's master bathroom remodeling job.
"The job was done with quality workmanship and a concern for dust generation and cleanliness," Buhler says. "Much of my positive experience with this company was because of supervisor Harvey Abernathy. He's fast, efficient, neat and a genuinely nice person to deal with. The tile work is incredibly beautiful, and the workmanship is some of the finest I've ever seen."
Rocca Tile Inc. | 770-446-6050
Sara Erickson was thrilled with a complete bathroom remodel — including retiling, new drywall, a new tub and hardware.
"Fil [Catalano], the project manager, was very responsive and always available," Erickson says. "The entire job was completed in four days! Fil understood exactly what I wanted — a 1920s style to fit with my Craftsman-style house, with subway tile and hexagonal floor tile. The finished bathroom looks perfect."
Tim Chen Plumbing Inc. | 770-934-8511
When Chris Kern's washing machine started backing up during the spin cycle, Tim Chen and his crew showed up in 15 minutes and fixed the problem right away by replacing the 40-year-old cast iron pipes leading to the kitchen sink, garbage disposal, dishwasher and the washing machine. "He showed me where the iron pipe was 90 percent clogged with crud from the washing machine and garbage disposal," Kern says. "They installed about 50 feet of PVC pipe in a very tight space, cleaned up everything, tested all the water lines and were quite professional."
Plumbpros Plumbing Co. | 770-384-1886
Lisa Dixon liked the attitude Plumbpros' worker displayed when repairing a pipe in the crawl space.
"I was greeted with a friendly smile and Southern manners," she says. "My 5-year-old son was very interested, and the plumber was very attentive and friendly to my little guy and his thousands of questions."
Encore Surfacing | 404-401-4667
Natalie Lee would like Encore to take a bow after refinishing her bathtub and repairing a hole.
"They filled the hole with foam, then patched it," she says. "When they were finished, the space was so smooth that you couldn't tell a hole was ever there. It looked liked a new tub. I'll definitely be using them again."
Ridgeway Mechanical Inc. | 770-354-4594
When David John Gagnon wanted to install a wet bar, bathroom, shower and toilet in his basement, Ridgeway obliged, even cutting through concrete to relocate the toilet line.
"Their plumber worked for three solid days, including late evenings, to finish the job," Gagnon says. "He was extremely polite and professional. Overall, I got more than I paid for."
