Professionalism by these West Palm Beach dentists draws praise
Whether you live north in Jupiter or south in Boca Raton, you’re looking for great service, especially regarding your family’s dental care.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from West Palm Beach dentists as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Transplant finds a trusted dentist
As a new transplant to Florida, Mildred Marin used the List to find Dr. Karen Glerum of Boynton Beach, Fla. “From the moment I scheduled the first appointment utilizing an Angie’s List coupon for the provider, I knew I would love Dr. Karen Glerum and her staff. Having recently relocated to Florida and not having any referrals or recommendations, I researched on Angie’s List and found Dr. Glerum, and I am so glad I did.
"Everyone makes you feel comfortable the minute you walk into the office," she says. "The office is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. They are very friendly and make sure they explain and inform you of every aspect of your treatment. I can’t say enough about everyone at the office. My husband and I are both patients, and we love them and are very happy with the services provided. Not to mention that they are a wealth of information and just enjoy being in their company. Thank you, Dr. Glerum, for all your assistance.”
Quick, attentive treatment
Dr. Kavita Patel of Spodak Dental Group in Delray Beach, Fla. provided compassionate dental care to JoAnn McCort. “My front tooth cap fell off, so I needed immediate attention and within an hour was given an appointment and treatment,” McCort says. “My dental problem is extreme due to tooth loss and financial restrictions. I can’t attend to the necessary treatment needed at the present time. My condition was explained to me without judgment.
"Due to the most up-to-date X-ray equipment, everything was totally painless," McCort says. "In a difficult and uncomfortable situation, Dr. Patel and her assistant informed me professionally and gave me comfort. It's the most excellent care and compassion I have ever experienced, and I am no novice to a dental chair.”
Care for a 'curmudgeon'
Dr. Vincent Guerra of Jupiter, Fla. makes visiting the dentist a pleasant experience for LeRoy Lamborn. “I am a 76-year-old curmudgeon,” Lamborn says. “Dr. Guerra has been my dentist for about five years. He has inspected my teeth twice a year and has installed crowns.
"When a root canal required a specialist, he made a recommendation," he says. "He is friendly and clearly explains a problem and what needs to be done, often using mirrors and the chair-side X-ray screen. His anesthetic injections are painless, with only the slightest pinprick. His assistants are friendly and thorough as well. I have no hesitation in recommending him.”
No need for root canal
Rebecca Mitchell was so impressed with Dr. Susan Berlin of Lake Worth, Fla. that she recommended the dentist to all her friends. “[I] had a broken tooth and a lot of pain,” Mitchell says. “She filled it when most dentists just sell you an unnecessary root canal. The price was very reasonable with an X-ray and deep filling under $300. Her staff was friendly, professional and compassionate. The office is immaculate. Dr. Berlin is calming and reassuring. She talked to me throughout the whole procedure. She told me what to expect, what she was seeing and how to take care of myself afterward.
"I was so impressed that I took a stack of her business cards for my workmates," Mitchell says. "I loved that the staff and dentist talked prices the whole time. There were no surprises, which is really important for someone like me without insurance. I have the most beautiful filling, no pain, and everything went smooth as could be. Finally, an honest dentist.
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
