Portland carpet cleaners tackle stubborn spots
Whether you live in Beaverton or South Burlingame, you’re looking for great service, especially with stained or dirty carpets.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Portland-area carpet cleaners as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Eco Clean Carpet Cleaning in Beaverton groomed several rooms for Janet Wagner. “Owner Walter Bush did a superb job of cleaning my carpet,” she says. “In fact, it’s the best cleaning I’ve ever had. The price was reasonable, and he didn’t try to upsell.
"I also liked that he charges by the square foot instead of per room," Wagner says, "so he was able to tackle some spots in a room without having to do the entire room. I will definitely use him next time and highly recommend him.”
Consistent carpet cleaning
Linton’s Carpet Cleaning in Vancouver, Wash. cleans consistently for Tracey Viall. “My wife and I have used Linton for more than 12 years,” Viall says. “They always do excellent work. If they work on a particularly difficult spot, they ask me to call them back if it returns. They’ll then take care of it at no charge.
"The price is very reasonable and fair," says Viall. "Owner Linton Becker and his wife have a refreshing sense of humor. You will have made the right choice when you call them to take care of your carpets.”
Sean Mecham, owner of Sean’s Carpet Care of Portland, provided a seamless carpet and furniture cleaning experience for Donna Yauney. “This was the most detailed job in carpet and furniture cleaning I have ever experienced,” she says. “Sean is a miracle worker on stained carpet and high traffic areas.
"My husband was also very impressed with the improvement on our carpeting," says Yauney. "It looks the best it has in a long time, and this carpet is light colored and old.”
Zeroez of Portland swept Robert Barrett away with their carpet cleaning. “Our cleaner not only did a good job, but also had a great attitude,” he says. “He gave a good explanation as to how Zerorez’s method of carpet cleaning is different from other companies. I like it very much when workers from companies I hire state what they do well without degrading other companies. He also discussed the drying time needed before furniture could be returned into place.”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
