Port Richey roofer helps homeowner stop new leak
We hired Sam Damm Roofing of Port Richey, Fla., to seal one section of our tile roof. The first repairman hardly did anything. A second guy redid the work and guaranteed it for two years. The roof has continued to drip. We spoke to them numerous times and was told someone would contact us. We asked that they call before they come, but someone came when we were out. We have called since and haven’t gotten a response. We want our two-year warranty honored.

The original job was completed by an employee who no longer works for the company. We repaired the leak after the first call, and when we received a call eight months later, we went out, but no one was there. When our foreman returned, he discovered that water seeps via the gutter during heavy rain. He installed a diverter to direct the water from the gutter elsewhere, then sealed the diverter. None of this was Damm Roofing’s fault or problem, but we took care of the customer.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
