Plumber comes to rescue after broken water heater floods basement

Member Dominick Dellaratta of Jersey City, N.J., recently hired highly rated Carmine P. Aumenta Plumbing & Heating of Jersey City, N.J. for water heater installation and repairs. The company rescued Dellaratta and his wife when water leaked in their basement.

Here’s what Dellaratta had to say about his experience:

“My wife and I bought our first house, a 1920s colonial. During hardwood floor installation, we didn’t have basement access and didn’t know the water heater broke and flooded the area for three days, destroying items stored on the floor. After an unpleasant experience with a big box retailer, I saw a man in a plumbing uniform from Carmine P. Aumenta walking to his truck. He probably thought I was crazy because I ran after him and asked if he could give me a quote. They were at my home within two hours to begin the install. He was calming and explained things every time I asked a question. He also showed me where to drain my basement if a flood would happen again. Thanks for the great experience, and you have customers for life.”
