Pittsburgh auto repair shops put a stop to car troubles
Whether you live in Allison Park or Pittsburgh, you’re looking for great service, especially with service and maintenance of your car.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Pittsburgh auto repair shops as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Rob Wagner Auto Body, Pittsburgh
Rob Wagner Auto Body kicked it into high gear when replacing the door on Dan Buttry’s 2011 Ford F-250. “First, you must know I have to be one of the most particular people when it comes to cars and body work,” he says. “I look at every little detail and most people in this business do not meet my expectations. In fact, I went in with the thought that there was no way this truck would be like new again, and I should just sell it. At the first visit, they explained every bit of detail in regard to the work but also took care of all the insurance communication and paperwork. With all the questions I had, most shops I visited had become frustrated with me. These folks did not. The repair also took less time than originally expected. Upon picking up the truck, I examined every little detail. I tried to find an issue. The best part is they let me do that without feeling rushed. All the employees that worked on my truck came out to explain what their part in it was. They showed so much appreciation for the work and how particular I am with my vehicles. They were also sure to make me feel comfortable about coming back if any issue arose. I will always use their service when needed.”
Keepin’ It Clean Mobile Detail, Allison Park
Keepin’ It Clean Mobile Detail made Charles Holmes’ vehicle shine. “They detailed my 2000 Camry inside and out,” he says. “I am getting it ready to sell or trade. They scheduled me for the very next day after I called. They came and picked it up and brought it back. It looks great! Yesterday, I took it to the dealer to be evaluated for possible tradein. Our salesman was impressed with how clean and good it looked – ‘like it’s never been outside.’ I will definitely call them to do my other vehicle.”
Richey Goodyear, Pittsburgh
Richey Goodyear put a stop to Holly Fairfield’s deteriorating brakes. “They replaced front brakes and I purchased two new tires,” she says. “These guys are the best. I have used them for years and they are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They call early in the day to tell you what they have found, give an estimate and give less expensive options if possible, ask when you need the car done by and offer to give you a ride home. Their prices are very good and they do a great job.”
Jeff’s Auto Glass, Pittsburgh
Jeff’s Auto Glass steered Thaddeus Stauffer’s windshield replacement in a positive direction. “Jeff’s Auto Glass showed up promptly on the date they scheduled with me,” he says. “They came to my home for this service. They had a new windshield with rubber gasket installed on my 90s Toyota truck in about two hours. They were very courteous and knowledgeable. They made sure I was happy, that everything was cleaned up and that I knew all the details about the install. They let me pay by credit card over the phone. I have no problems with the product or the install.”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A’s in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company’s actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they’d hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
