Pinellas Park homeowner says Tampa roofing company did shoddy work
I hired NBRC Construction of Tampa, Fla., after one of their “recruiters” told me I had shingles missing from a recent windstorm and that they would handle the insurance claim. I agreed, and they replaced my roof, with the work done by a subcontractor.
At first, the work was done promptly and appeared to be acceptable. However, after completion, they began sending me and my insurer bills for additional work they never performed. After the first heavy rain, a heavy leak developed in my dining room. After I made numerous requests for service, the subcontractor sent a worker to investigate, and he told NBRC it wasn’t because of their work. Every rain, my dining room suffers additional damage, and repeated emails have achieved no results. I am a disabled veteran and can’t afford additional expenses, but I have no choice but to hire another contractor to repair the damage. I would like them to correct the problem and provide additional compensation given their lack of response for months.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to mediate disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
