Phoenix-area plumber, homeowner flush away their problems
I hired 24/7 Water Conditioning & Plumbing of Surprise, Arizona, to unclog a sink and install a new kitchen faucet. The tech gave me an estimate that took over 30 minutes. The estimate said the faucet was $420 and parts were $65.
The tech left to get the parts and was gone for an hour and-a-half. It took him over an hour to unclog the sink. I asked if he could come back the next day since it was after 5 p.m. and I wanted to look for a cheaper faucet. He said it would be two weeks and he’d charge an extra $80 to come back out.
I gave in and let him finish, but a few minutes after he left, the faucet started to leak. I had to call the owner to get the tech back out to fix it that night.
Later, I went online and found the same faucet at a hardware store for $98. I made the mistake of trusting this company on price. I emailed the owner about all the problems, but he never responded.
I want a refund of $322 to make up for the price difference with the faucet and would like them to refund part of their $91 miscellaneous material fee.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
