Patients praise these St. Louis dentists
Whether you live over in Ballwin or up in St. Charles, you're looking for great service, especially regarding your family’s dental care.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from St. Louis dentists as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Easing dental fears
Webster Dental Care of St. Louis brushed away Karen Matteuzzi’s dental fears. “I used to freak out when I went to the dentist,” she says. “Not anymore! Dr. Krobath has cured me of being afraid of the dentist.
"The entire staff is incredible," she says. "They are there early, late, and even on Saturdays for working people. They have even come in on a Sunday to help me in an emergency situation. Whatever I go there for, they are nice, polite and don’t hurt me. I never thought I’d be raving about a dental practice.”
A travelers' emergency
Meredith Baughman is all smiles thanks to City Smiles of St. Louis. “While in St. Louis for less than one day, I broke off a prominent top tooth creating a major cosmetic problem,” she says. “City Smiles extended their day to help me. I was leaving the next day and not able to see my regular dentist for at least 10 days.
"Their kindness in treating an out-of-town walk-in who they knew they would never see again will never be forgotten," Baughman says. "If I lived in St. Louis, I would be their regular patient!”
Moshiri Orthodontics of St. Louis impressed Ronald Mallon with the level of care given to child patients. “My daughter goes there for orthodontic care, and I’m very pleased with them,” he says. “Dr. Moshiri is positive, attentive and careful. The orthodontic staff and the office staff are also top-notch.
"They have a beautiful office, and they engage their young patients from the very start," he says. "The kids sign themselves in on a computer at the front desk, and they hold mouth-opening devices themselves as the staff takes photo of their teeth and gums. It’s an empowering experience. The office has all the latest in high-tech orthodontics without seeming to be showy.”
An alternative to braces
Cambridge Dental Care of O’Fallon, Mo. helped Stephanie Lape save money on her family’s dental care needs. “I talked to the dentist about orthodontics for my youngest,” she says. “He’s eight and has crooked teeth. I was looking into getting him braces in the fall. Cambridge introduced me to Ortho-Tain, which is a retainer that takes half the time of braces and is half the price.
"The staff was so informative and caring to my kids," she says. "I’m so glad I found them. My little one is on his way to straighter teeth!”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
