Patients heap praise for these New York City dentists
Whether you live in the Hamptons, Park Slope, Newport or New Rochelle, you’re looking for great service, especially regarding your family’s dental care.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from New York City dentists as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
A half century of dental care
The work of Manhattan Dental Associates of New York City is worth the trip for Michael Molinaro. “I had problems with an old crown. Dr. Kushner took impressions and cemented a new crown. I haven’t had any problems since,” he says.
“I have been going to this office for over 50 years, including the previous practice that was located there," he says. "Dr. Kushner has been my dentist for almost 20 years. I travel from New Jersey to Manhattan because I don’t want to switch to a local dentist. The appointments are prompt and the work is efficient here.”
A fresh start
Kathrina Knoop found a new dental home at Newman Springs Dental Care of Lincroft, N.J. “I relocated to the area and needed a dentist,” she says. “After a free consultation and set of X-rays, I set an appointment for an overdue deep cleaning.
"As a fearful patient, I was very happy with everyone I encountered," she says. "They made a point to continually check to she how I was doing during the procedure. They offer three levels of sedation, if needed. The follow-up is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable.”
Like mother, like daughter
Elena Heydt is all smiles, thanks to Dental Arts of Rockland of Orangeburg, N.Y. “They have taken care of all my dental needs. I first visited Dr. Steve Blechman for porcelain veneers,” she says. “Now, I visit him for teeth cleanings and other dental needs. He keeps my teeth healthy and looking great. My teeth look absolutely amazing. The fit and comfort of his work is just amazing.
"The staff makes you feel at home and takes care of all your needs," she says. "My daughter is also a patient of Dr. Blechman’s and her veneers look great, too.”
Looking forward to the next visit
Smile in the City of New York City numbed Celia Gittelson’s dental fears. “I needed to have dental work done after several years of neglect,” she says. “I was both an uneasy and embarrassed patient.
"I did a lot of research and decided that Smile in the City was the place for me," she says. "I was right: It was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. From my first phone call, I was treated graciously, with respect and professionalism. I am actually looking forward to my return visit. How many people can say that about going to the dentist?”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
