Parkville company remodels 26-year-old kitchen
Angie’s List members Vicki Bourckel and her husband, Larry, of Parkville, Maryland, decided to remodel their kitchen because it was old and worn out.
“We had remodeled it when we moved into the house in 1988, and now, 26 years and five children later, I was ready for a fresh new kitchen,” Vicki says. “It had also felt crowded and cramped, with not enough storage.”
She searched Angie’s List and found highly rated JJM Services, also in Parkville.
“They were one of four contractors I interviewed, and got the job because they showed the most interest in our project and communicated with us frequently, but were not pushy or aggressive,” Vicki says.
She adds one of her favorite parts of the $30,000 project was the company’s communication, especially since she and her husband were out of town for two weeks during the work.
“My husband and I are so happy with our new kitchen,” she says. “I feel like I am at a vacation resort condo every time I go in there. I still can hardly believe this is my kitchen.”
