Oversized garage addition increases space in Cincinnati home
When Angie’s List member Tom Harrison needed more work and storage space in his Cincinnati home, he had to figure out the best way to add extra room. After consideration, he chose to add an oversized garage in his backyard with an additional concrete driveway to connect the garage to the existing driveway.
Harrison heard about BTS Contracting through his wife, Sarah, who worked with the wife of the highly rated company’s owner. After seeing first-hand the quality of work BTS Contracting produced, the Harrisons hired the Amelia, Ohio-based company for the $37,500 build.
“I discussed with [owner] Bob Lally what I wanted and what my budget was,” he writes in a review of the company. “Once I was ready, the process was very pleasant. Everyone involved — Bob, his team and the subcontractors he used — were punctual and very efficient. Their attention to detail and quality of the workmanship has provided me with a garage that has more than met my expectations.”
During the project, Harrison says they made a few changes to accommodate his needs. While these changes slightly affected the price, Harrison says the project still came in under budget.
Harrison appreciates that the crew cleaned the work site each day when they left. Even while working, Harrison says they always kept the construction area tidy.
His new garage adds aesthetic appeal to his home, Harrison says.
“I’ve received numerous compliments and inquiries from neighbors and friends due to the quality of work done,” he says.
