Orlando window company resolves homeowner’s issue with sagging storm door
I hired Window World of Orlando, Florida, to replace all of the windows in my house and the storm door on the front entrance.
During the install, multiple new windows were bent and the storm door opened the wrong way, so they needed to be re-ordered. I had to call multiple times over several weeks to get the status of the replacements.
The door was wrong again after the replacement order finally arrived, as it was the wrong color this time. After weeks, another new door came. The hardware was wrong this time, but they offered me a discount to accept it as is.
However, the door is now sagging, and has to be lifted to open and close. Since this is my front door, it’s a constant annoyance, hazard and embarrassment. Guests fiddle with the lock and handle, and can’t figure out how to leave the home. My wife, two guests and I have all had our knuckles cut on the latch while trying to lift the door to open it.
This seems to be a minor issue that any handyman could fix.
I’ve called multiple times asking that someone repair this. I want a working front door on my home.

This is a storm door issue. Let’s not bury all the good work in this problem. We are happy to resolve the issue.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
