Oklahoma City auto repair shops praised for good service
Whether you live in Edmond or Bethany, you’re looking for great service, especially with service and maintenance of your car.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Oklahoma City auto repair shops as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Penn Glass, Oklahoma City
Patrick Fuller opened up about his positive experience with Penn Glass. “They replaced the passenger side rear quarter window on my 2003 Toyota Tundra,” he says. “I called several glass companies after my truck was broken into at a storage facility. The rear passenger vented quarter window was smashed, and as I discovered, it’s not the easiest fix. Their supplier fumbled the glass and hardware order twice — and I saw and heard the order placed, it was not Penn’s fault at all — but through it all, Penn’s team couldn’t have been better. When everything was correct, the glass was replaced correctly in just a few minutes. I will definitely use them again if needed.”
Edmond One Stop Auto, Edmond
Edmond One Stop Auto kicked it into high gear for Leslie Looman. “Edmond One Stop repaired my car quickly, expertly and did not try to upsell me or cheat me,” Looman says. “I went in early in the morning and needed my car repaired. These guys were already very busy, but due to the nature of my situation, moved me to the front and repaired it in less than one hour. They replaced my alternator, changed my oil and found a leak in one of my radiator hoses and changed it for me. These guys are amazing, and I will recommend them to all my friends and family and will be a customer for life.”
Beneficial Automotive Maintenance, Oklahoma City
Beneficial Automotive Maintenance always revs up Frank Schall’s car repairs. “My family cars are getting older, and work is needed,” he says. “I have taken them my Dodge Magnum, Dodge Dakota and Chrysler Sebring, and they have done quality work on all of them over the years. Most recently, they had to replace the water pump, thermostat, belt, hoses and pulleys on my Dakota. Every time they’ve worked on one of my vehicles, they had it ready on time and there were no surprises in the cost.”
Cherokee Hills Automotive, Bethany
Cherokee Hills Automotive helped Abraham Dekat keep cool. “They replaced the A/C clutch in my Honda Civic,” he says. “Chris Bilodeau was very nice and very professional when I brought my 2006 Honda Civic in for a free diagnostic of the problems I’d been having with my air conditioning. Their garage itself was kept very clean and well organized. Chris worked with me on the price of the repair and provided a clear explanation of what needed to be done. I didn’t feel pressured to use their shop in the least, nor was I leery of them trying to sell repairs to me that I didn’t really need. I used Cherokee Hills for the repair because of their price, the warranty on parts and labor and the professionalism displayed by their employees.”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A’s in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company’s actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they’d hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
