Newly built Las Vegas pool includes waterfall feature, fire bowls
Angie’s List member Steven K. says that he and his wife wanted to bring the water to their Las Vegas home, in the form of a swimming pool, after relocating from Seattle.
“Being that neither of us knew anything about pools, I contacted a number of contractors to discuss pool designs, pool equipment, salt versus chlorine, costs,” Steven says, among other items, in his review. He ultimately contracted with highly rated Oracle Swimming Pools in Las Vegas.
“Although our initial design was for a free-form style salt water pool and spa with a water feature, [owner] John Bowles presented us with a geometrical design that we fell in love with right away,” he says. “Being that we were building the pool into a hillside, we added a waterfall feature, along with two fire bowls, a pebble pool finish, an in-floor cleaning system, a shallow swim deck area and additional decking as well.”
He says Bowles deftly handled changes to the job without missing a beat and kept the $59,000 project on time. “Although we had construction issues and delays with our block wall contractor, John’s professionalism and calming personality was really appreciated. Our pool turned out better than we could ever imagine, and it was John who made that possible.”
