New York carpet cleaners save stained rugs
Whether you live in the Hamptons, Park Slope, Newport or New Rochelle, you’re looking for great service, especially when dealing with stained or dirty carpets.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from New York City-area carpet cleaners as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Getting the 'pet' out of the carpet
On Time Carpet of Brooklyn groomed several rooms for Susan Ellis. “They cleaned all the carpeting in my house. They cleaned the hallways, stairs, living room, dining room and two bedrooms,” she says. “It went great.
"I thought I was going to have to replace the living room and dining room carpet," she says. "It was so stained from my cats, but it came out great. Owner Nathan Fuerte is more enthusiastic about carpet cleaning than anyone I have ever met. He truly wanted to make sure I was happy.”
Finally clean carpet
“I have used at least five specialty carpet cleaners in the area over the years, and RevitaRUGS stood out. They couldn’t have been nicer, more responsive or more accommodating. The rug they cleaned has a new vibrancy that I haven’t seen in a long time. I’m delighted with the quality.”
Rugs returned rejuvenated
Sparrow Cleaning Company of Mount Vernon swept away Stephen Miele’s carpet concerns. “They cleaned carpet in four rooms and took various rugs offsite for cleaning,” he says. “I have had this type of work done before, but never done this well.
"I have pets and they managed to successfully remove those embarrassing stains and odors," he says. "The rugs were returned in mint condition and the fringes were combed out. I will definitely use this company again. I am thrilled!”
Out, out, Spot's spots!
USA Carpet Cleaning of Buchanan provided a seamless experience for Pedro Rivera. “They cleaned the second floor of a rental property. The tenants had two dogs and they never cleaned the carpet in the three years they lived in the house,” he says.
“I had this cleaning done as a last resort before replacing it. They deodorized, pretreated spots and got to work. The carpet looks like it was just installed. I believe they saved this carpet from the city dump and saved me thousands for a new carpet.”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
