Never fear with these Oklahoma City dentists

Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Oklahoma City dentists as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Heaps of praise
Scilla Drake reports another positive experience in her latest visit for a six-month cleaning and exam to Dr. Jamie Talley’s office in Edmond, Ok. “I have been going to Dr. Talley for more than two years now,” Drake says. “She is on my insurance plan, and for that I am so thankful. I can’t express strongly enough what an amazing dentist she is. She has fixed some old cavities for me, and I’ve had two crowns done by her.
"Her office manager, Elisabeth Perdue, is awesome!" Drake says. "She goes above and beyond to try and get procedures authorized with the crappy insurance I have through my husband’s employer, and she is very sweet and kind. Her hygienist, Alicia Spears, does an amazing job cleaning my teeth. Her assistant, Shannon Merwin, makes me feel totally at ease. There is not one negative thing I can say about Dr. Talley and her staff. My whole family loves it there!”
You can't go wrong with either dentist
Page Amador is all smiles, thanks to Dental Expressions of Oklahoma City. “My family and I love Dental Expressions,” Amador says. “We have seen both doctors and are equally comfortable with either. They do only work that needs to be done, not the work that could be done. The staff there has been the same for the four years we have been going to them. I was an assistant long ago, and longtime staff is a sign of a good employer. Their work has stood up well. They have always taken wonderful care of my family!
"The cleaning went well," Amador says. "The hygienist took her time and answered all my questions. The exam was very extensive.”
Dr. Richard Homsey of Oklahoma City and his staff brushed away Kelly Leiter’s dental woes. “I had to have two bridges put back in,” Leiter says. “They worked me in the first day I called, even as a new patient.
"I am a dentist’s worst nightmare," Leiter admits. "Due to a traumatic experience as a teen, I have an extreme phobia of the dentist. This staff was so understanding and went above and beyond to make my visit as pleasant as possible. I am not an easy patient, but I felt good when I left. I will definitely use him again.”
'The only dentist I’ve ever liked'
Dr. Shannon Griffin of Edmond, Ok. restored Charleen Johnston’s faith in dentists. “Dr. Griffin is the only dentist I’ve ever liked,” she says. “I despise dentists! I had another dentist do some work that left me in severe pain for two months.
"Dr. Griffin knew exactly the problem, how to fix it, and was not only able to do it, but also she was awesome," she says. "She met me, not someone else. She talked to me, not an assistant. She listened, didn’t interrupt, asked questions and was thorough. She came highly recommended from a dental rep friend who knows tons of dentists. I was skeptical, but went to her despite my pain. I was more than pleasantly surprised! She is very down to earth and friendly.”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
