Mother says pediatric dentist is wonderful

Dr. Jodi Guttenberg | Rockville Centre, N.Y.

Helen Wong-Eng says pediatric dental visits are never a chore with her family's dentist.

"All three of my children were patients of this wonderful pediatric dental office," Wong-Eng says. "The bedside manner and communication to parents and office staff are all wonderful. And, they have video games and other activities to distract the young ones! It's such a nice dental office that my children remained patients after we moved 30 miles away simply because I was reluctant to change dentists."

The goal of an initial visit to a pediatric dentist or general dentist serves many purposes, including check for dental decay, tooth or jaw abnormalities, and counseling on topics as pacifiers, baby bottles, sippy cups, thumb habits or nutritional counseling.
