Miami tree trimmer doesn’t return after receiving deposit, member says

Member complaint

I hired Nonner Tree Service of Miami to trim trees in our yard after success two years prior. Owner Clemens Nonner gave us a great quote and asked for a cash deposit of $165. Since we had used him before, we were fine with this. We never heard from him again.

His number stopped receiving incoming calls, and after locating a home number for his family online, his mother told me he was going through personal problems and that we shouldn’t have given him a deposit.

I certainly cannot recommend anyone using him. It was shocking to experience this, especially since we’ve happily used his services in the past, but I guess people change. I don’t expect we will ever see our $165 again. I’d like a refund via money order.
