Miami handyman leaves unfinished work in wake, homeowner says
After a week and-a-half of calls and emails, I received a $1,135 quote. He asked for half upfront, and I provided $570.
He promised he would have it done in a day and-a-half or two days at most. After two days at the property, he worked on five items off the list. Three of the five weren’t completed.
I’ve called, emailed and texted, and he’s replied a couple of times, saying he would send a breakdown for the refund.
I never heard from him again. I gave him multiple opportunities to do what was right. I want a $250 refund.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
