Members shower these Sacramento plumbers with praise
Whether you live in Roseville or Elk Grove, as a Sacramento homeowner, you’re looking for great service, especially with your plumbing needs and emergencies.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Sacramento plumbers as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
A garbage disposal that's garbage
Frances Purviance is plumb pleased with the service provided by Chapman’s Legacy Plumbing of Orangevale, Calif. “They cleared my drain and replaced my garbage disposal,” Purviance says. “They found an obvious problem with my drain but also uncovered a problem with my disposal. I cringed when I heard it needed to be replaced but was pleasantly surprised that the cost was less than I thought it would cost for the service alone. Owner Kermit Chapman’s friendliness is only surpassed by the quality of his work.”
A holiday emergency
Boyd Plumbing of Orangevale, Calif. cleared Sara Utley’s drainage woes. “I had spent the day calling various companies to get someone to fix my stoppage on a holiday,” she says. “After being told time and time again that there would be an additional holiday fee from every company, I called a friend and she recommended Boyd plumbing.
"They arrived within the hour for no extra charge," Utley says. "Then, I was told the cost was going to be less than the original quote. I will use them for every plumbing issue I have in the future.”
Finding the right part
Amie Lambert showers praise on Hoppers Plumbing of Weimar, Calif. “My shower could not be used because the pull that diverts the water upwards for the shower was broken,” she says. “I could not find a replacement part online because the model was discontinued.
"Hoppers Plumbing came by the next day and found a source for a replacement part," she reports. "They did not ask for a deposit when they ordered the part or charge for the initial evaluation. When the part came, they were able to repair the problem in less than an hour.”
It's a trap
Roroman Plumbing of Fairfield, Calif. sealed the deal for Matt Rhodes. “I had three sinks that needed new drain seals and one with a leaking trap,” he says. “During the repairs, they showed me why the trap was leaking. They also found the same issue under the garbage disposal. It was not critical, but they said to keep an eye on it because it would eventually leak.
"At that point, we discussed repairing that sink," Rhodes says. "They ended up putting in a new garbage disposal and rebuilt the custom traps under the double sinks. I was extremely satisfied.”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
