Members shower praise on these Atlanta plumbers
Whether you live up in Buckhead or in Marietta, as a homeowner in the ATL, you’re looking for great service, especially with your plumbing needs and emergencies.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Atlanta plumbers as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
The overflowing washing machine
Arrowhead Plumbing of Grayson, Ga. targeted Roger and Pat Mansfield’s laundry room problem. “Our washing machine began to overflow one day, and we did not know why,” they say. “They came out the same day and looked at the situation.
"The next day, they worked all day to clean out the sewer line," the Mansfields say. "They had to cut out a hole in the garage wall to access the sewer pipe. The plumber worked diligently and explained what he was doing all along the way. We are satisfied with the work and trust Arrowhead Plumbing.”
Calling an audible
Bartline Plumbing Services of Lilburn, Ga. sealed the deal for John Phinazee. “I called owner Ed Bartline to discuss repairing a leaking shower faucet and installing a new shower head,” he says. “He gave me an estimate over the phone, which I thought was very reasonable.
"Prior to his arrival, I decided to replace all the shower fixtures, which required going into the adjoining storage room wall to install new piping," Phinazee says. "Ed gave me a new price for complete replacement of the fixtures. The work was completed in a timely, professional manner.”
Heather Ayers pours out praise for AllGood Plumbing & Electric of Loganville, Ga. “They unclogged my toilets and replaced worn parts. All service providers should take note of how AllGood Plumbing approaches customer service,” she says. “It’s the best I’ve experienced. I received a follow-up call and email the next day to ensure services were up to par. I also received a handwritten thank-you note in the mail, along with a gift card for a cup of coffee. They go out of their way to let their customers know they actually value the business.”
Moving the washer hookup
Karen and Jerry Burroughs are plumb pleased with the service provided by Sloggy Plumbing of Buford, Ga. “Owner Brian Sloggy moved our washing machine hookup to a new location in another room,” they say. “The original location was about 12 feet from the new one. While this sounds like a simple project, the construction of the rooms made it challenging. Brian found a solution involving less tear-out and replacement of structure. He also made good suggestions for allowing for the addition of a laundry sink.”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
