Members plumb pleased with these Minneapolis plumbers
Whether you live in Eden Prairie or New Ulm, as a homeowner in the Twin Cities, you’re looking for great service, especially with your plumbing needs and emergencies.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Minneapolis plumbers as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Third time, still a charm
Jennifer Papas pours out praise for Adam’s On-Time Plumbing of Dayton, Minn. “I had a pipe disintegrate. They cut through cabinets and replaced the pipe,” she says. “This is the third time I have used Adam’s. They are really, really great. They’re very skilled and do the job right the first time. They managed to find a pipe that was like a needle in a haystack. By taking extra time to measure, they only did minimal cutting into my wall and kitchen cabinets. I’d recommend them to anyone. They’re top notch!”
No more cold showers
Twin City Pipeworks of Lake Elmo, Minn. burned through Lisa Olsen’s cold-water concerns. “My water heater was not producing hot water,” she says. “After evaluating all of the options thoroughly, the most economical and long-lasting solution was a replacement of the water heater. They were able to take care of it in the same day. The plumber finished in a mere three hours. I was pleased with the results and the high level of professionalism, which included responses to my emails in advance of my appointment.”
Calming a panic
Peace of Mind Plumbers of Shakopee, Minn. sealed the deal for Kevin Donlin. “I called Peace of Mind Plumbers in a panic about a leaky pipe in my basement,” he says. “Owner Shaun Myroid quickly diagnosed the problem by phone and offered to look at a picture of my pipe if I emailed it to him. He called back and said he would come out soon because it looked serious. He came ahead of schedule and fixed the pipe in about 15 minutes. I was blown away by the experience. It was fast, friendly and at a fair price.”
Fixing a friend's DIY 'fix'
Alice Evenson is plumb pleased with the service provided by Xstream Plumbing of Minneapolis. “Last summer, someone who isn’t a plumber installed a new valve apparatus in my toilet tank, but it never flushed completely at all times,” she says. “That eventually resulted in a clogged toilet.
"They checked the flush, used an auger to unclog it and pulled the tank apparatus entirely out to check what was happening," Evenson says. "They made adjustments to the valve that allowed for the proper water level and now it works great!”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
