Members over the moon about these Oklahoma City plumbers
Whether you live north in Edmond or south in Norman, as an OKC homeowner, you’re looking for great service, especially with your plumbing needs and emergencies.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Oklahoma City plumbers as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
John Pickett hired Elder Plumbing Heating & Air of Edmond, Okla. to install his water softener system. “I have used Elder previously and they are always polite and on time and do an outstanding job,” he says. “I have never had to call them back on any job. They provided a new water softener system and installed it in my garage. When they were finished, they cleaned up well enough that you couldn’t tell there had been any work done. Prior to leaving, they provided the paperwork for the unit and gave me a tutorial on how to use it. They provided the first four bags of salt, and everything was up and running when they left.”
Relief for backyard flooding
Wayne Ruff had an easy experience with Water Boy’s Plumbing of Norman, Okla. “They replaced a leaking stopcock on the outside of the house,” he says. “They were very responsive. When I called to tell them my problem of a partially flooded backyard from the gushing valve, they said they would stop by to look at it before going to their next job. They replaced the stopcock and finished all the work perfectly within 45 minutes. I’ve never used a better plumber.”
The root of the problem
Plumbco Plumbing of Mustang, Okla. plumb pleased Donna Ruffin. “They cleared roots out of the sewer line,” she says. “They have done this about a half dozen times for me now. It was great, as always. I first used their services about three years ago and have never looked for anyone else since.
"They are kind, considerate and will go out of their way to help you out when the situation is dire," Ruffin says. "For instance, for their most recent visit, I called them about the roots. It never gives much notice; it just abruptly stops. This stops everything, and you can’t use any water anywhere. With three people in the house, two with diabetes and needing meals on time, this means trouble. I would recommend them heartily and I cannot give them high enough marks.”
Saving a closing
Chet Walcott Plumbing of Oklahoma City went above the call of duty for Keisla Messenger. “On the same day we were scheduled to close on our house, while moving and disconnecting the washer, my husband accidentally broke the hot water valve in the laundry room,” she says. “I called Chet Walcott Plumbing, explained what had happened and they sent someone out within an hour! They did the repair for us and had all the parts they needed on hand. They had us fixed up and cleaned up within 30 minutes, well within time for our final walk-through! We passed with flying colors and made it to closing on time!”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
