Members give these West Palm Beach plumbers seals of approval
Whether you live north in Jupiter or south in Boca Raton, as a homeowner, you’re looking for great service, especially with your plumbing needs and emergencies.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from West Palm Beach plumbers as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Are your toilets running?
Susan Slater’s toilets stopped running after replacement by Ryan Plumbing of Lake Worth, Fla. “I initially contacted him about four toilets that started running,” Slater says. “I checked online and found that the brand and the units were no longer available, but he asked me to send him pictures from my phone and he would look into it. Later, he sent a text that they were indeed discontinued, and he could only repair two of the four. I asked for a recommendation, and he sent names and numbers for different units so that I could search to see if I liked them and find a better price than his! They were ready, in about four hours: all new toilets, no muss, no fuss!
"He later came out to look at the kitchen sink’s fancy sprayer, and, again recommended how to the find the correct part, and I installed DIY style, saving me $500," Slater says. "Ryan is the best at going with the flow!!”
True to reviews
Brian Hollinger Plumbing of Loxahatchee, Fla. delivered on the service Marlene Passos read about in reviews. “My kitchen faucet was leaking due to a damaged cartridge, and I needed to replace the entire faucet,” Passos says. “Mr. Hollinger replaced the old one with a new one I had purchased. He also replaced the old, rusty bathtub stopper and the overflow plate in the bathroom.
"From the moment we spoke on the phone to his arrival and during the job performance, he was pleasant, courteous and professional," Passos reports. "After reading all the reviews for plumbing on Angie’s List, I was impressed with the ones for Brian Hollinger Plumbing. I called him on a Tuesday afternoon, and Mr. Hollinger came to my house to do the job on Wednesday, first thing in the morning. He did a neat and professional job. His price is very reasonable. I will refer him to other people without any hesitation!”
Dependable for anything
ABM Plumbing of Boca Raton, Fla. earned Stacey Sutton’s trust by being reliable and responsive. “David Burleigh is a first-rate plumber as well as being very responsive, professional and pleasant,” Sutton says. “After finding him on Angie’s List, he has become my plumber. Not only does he find obscure parts, make multiple trips and offer explanations, he does it a very fair price and obviously takes pride in his work.
"He recently fixed my garbage disposal and taught me how to do it myself if it ever happens again," Sutton says. "He rerouted my dishwasher drain line to prevent the water from draining back into the dishwasher and checked to see if there is any fix for my reoccurring problems with my Kohler bath handles. I can’t recommend David highly enough.”
The no-show tenant
Papa’s Plumbing of Lake Worth, Fla. got the water flowing out of Abraham Karimpanal’s shower again. “Papa’s Plumbing came to fix the problem and was very professional,” Karimpanal says. “They had to come return to finish the job, but my tenant who was supposed to be there didn’t inform Papa’s about the change in her schedule. Needless to say Papa’ incurred a loss as my tenant was a no-show. I spoke with the owner to rectify the situation. He could have charged me extra since we needed to reschedule but he didn’t. That’s what I call total customer service.
"Papa was very reasonable in price, professional and very considerate," Karimpanal says. "I will recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing service, and to the owner, ‘Thank you so much.’”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
