Member says trailer rental company didn’t provide full refund

Member complaint

I ordered a trailer hitch and wiring harness installation from U-Haul on Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach, Fla. Phone calls to the local office never went through, so I ordered online.

I received a phone call telling me when to pick up the equipment. I didn’t receive a confirmation call, so I called to confirm and was told the parts weren’t in.

I followed up with several calls to the call center and the person I spoke with said the situation was my fault. He also said they can’t return parts, so there are no refunds.

However, I received a refund, but it was $50 less than the total amount I paid. I want $50 credited toward my credit card.
