Member says South Florida movers damaged goods and upcharged
I believe they hired teenagers online to move my valuable furniture. After I packed things myself, they damaged our goods and our house and lost some items. They also upcharged me from the original estimate, and I believe they underestimated the cost to get the job. I’m willing to pay 10 percent above the original estimate for labor and materials to wrap mirrored glass, pictures and a television. I want a $2,929 refund, which includes the difference between what the estimate should’ve been and the additional charge, plus money for our lost and damaged property.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to mediate disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
