Member says San Diego mover didn’t deliver some of his belongings
I hired Manpower Moving & Storage of San Diego to move household items from my home in Vista, Calif., to a second home outside Durango, Colo. They didn’t inventory the items that they put into their truck. They told me they would transport them to their secure warehouse, where they would inventory them and weigh the entire load.
I shipped most of my items in repackaged boxes, so the contents were not readily visible. I shipped a Dyson DC44 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 Scanner and Cuisinart pots and pans in their original packaging. These items never were delivered to Colorado.
I called the company and left a message on four occasions and never heard back. I want a $944 refund, which is the value of the items lost during the move.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
