Member says San Diego appliance repair company damaged dishwasher
I hired Appliance Repair of San Diego, based in Alpine, Calif., to repair my dual-drawer dishwasher. While he [technician] was here, he broke the handle on the lower drawer. At that point he asked my wife to super-glue it, and the glue ran down the side of the stainless steel.
When I got home, I called him and he agreed that he broke the handle and that he would replace it. However, since then, all of my numerous attempts to contact him have been fruitless. Also, he didn’t fasten the dishwasher back to the cabinet and the upper drawer now leaks again. I’d like him to repair the leaks caused by the dishwasher not being properly attached to the cabinet, and replace the handle that he broke.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to mediate disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
