Member says Saint Leonard contractor placed siding over rotted wood
I hired Kingstown Building and Remodeling of Saint Leonard, Md., for a project that included roofing, windows, fencing and siding.
The roof work was great. Dealing with owner Paul Miller was OK.
However, his coworker often came unprepared. My biggest issue is that they tried to put siding on rotting wood. The siding is falling off the areas where they didn’t replace the rotting wood. I mentioned to them 20 to 30 times that the siding wouldn’t hold onto the rotting wood.
I want them to return and fix this issue before all of the siding falls off the house.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
