Member says Molalla company won’t fix warrantied slate tile work
I hired Morley Building & Remodeling of Molalla, Ore., to replace my front porch and steps with slate tiles. However, months later, the slate started falling off.
Company owner Michael Morley told me he’d fix it, but I haven’t heard from him since. This is negligent, especially since I have a warranty on the work.
I’ve been calling once or twice a week and leaving messages. I’m very frustrated. This is not the quality service I would expect.
I’m concerned about the quality of the work since the tiles fell off the porch in just six months.
I would like for them to fix the porch and check its stability and integrity. I also want an extended warranty.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
