I hired Weed Man of Cincinnati to treat my lawn in the spring and summer. I bought a coupon voucher for a half off the first application.

I couldn’t detect a noticeable improvement after the third application, so I canceled the service. I don’t expect a perfect lawn after three applications, but I have experienced better results doing it myself at much lower cost.

They seem like decent people to work with, but their products were not effective on my yard. Another application was applied when I wasn’t home weeks after I canceled service.

When I contacted Weed Man about this, they said they have no record of my cancellation and I had to pay for service.

I want a refund of $80.

Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to mediate disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
