Member says Indianapolis landscaper failed to deliver mulch
I hired Scottland Yard of Indianapolis to mulch my trees and remove Boston ivy from the flower beds for $400, mulch included. He [Scott Hester, owner] finally showed up and proceeded to mow the grass and trim, which I had not requested. Then, he demanded to be paid immediately.
So, trusting him to finish with the mulching and flower beds, I paid him his raised fee of $435. He left without mulching or removing ivy. A week or so later, I saw him at a store and he said he’d be there in a couple of days, but never showed. I called him several times, but he didn’t respond. I want a $300 refund.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to mediate disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
