Member says Indian Trail kitchen remodeler failed to complete job
I hired Sandy’s Cabinets and Countertops of Indian Trail, N.C., to install a granite countertop in my kitchen. I gave Sandy Mullis [owner] a $480 deposit. He cashed the check, but didn’t complete the job.
All attempts to get work completed were met with delays and excuses, such as a broken slab that he had to reorder. He also said the kitchen sink was ordered, but had not come in yet.
Further attempts to reach him or his partner, Billy Pearson, were unsuccessful. All calls went to voicemail. Beware of this scam artist! I want a $480 refund.
Nancy Taylor, Charlotte, N.C.
Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
