Member says Charlotte-area handyman built inferior overhang
I hired “handyman” Drew of Andrew Levix Handy Service in Denver, N.C., to install a shed-style overhang on the back of my home. He cut the roofing too short on the sides — it barely covers the wood and it now leaks. I advised him of this problem, and he said my roof doesn’t leak.
I have drip marks all over my siding and it’s now leaking in other areas. At first, I just kept wiping off the siding, but it’s leaking every time it rains. It’s now running down into my roof, causing mold. I cannot leave a voice mail message because his mailbox is always full.
He doesn’t stand behind his work and therefore I wouldn’t recommend “Handyman Drew” to anyone. I want a $525 refund or the roof to be corrected, moldy boards replaced and leak fixed.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to mediate disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
