Member says Albuquerque remodeler didn’t finish project
I hired Granite Transformations of Albuquerque, N.M., to remodel my bathroom. It went very slow, with several complications along the way.
When the installer showed up to begin work, he did not know the full scope of the work. After sorting all that out, there were several trips to get the necessary materials. Repairs were difficult and time-consuming to finally get completed.
They still haven’t completed a finished transition between the carpet removed for tile floor installation and the existing carpeted hallway. They removed the bathroom carpet, installed the tile floor, and attempted to make a smooth transition from new tile floor to connecting hallway carpet.
However, after two calls for repair service, which is still unsatisfactory, the company owner now says they don’t do anything with carpet and has refused to finish this job. He said this even though they did come back on two occasions to specifically work on the tile to carpet transition. I want them to fix the tile-to-carpet transition area.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
