Member and Austin housecleaner disagree about cleaning damage
I hired POHC Solutions of Austin, Texas, to deep clean my home. I purchased a $200 coupon valued at $400 for a deep cleaning from on online coupon service. What a mistake! I was excited to get the blinds, baseboards, ceiling fans and shutters cleaned. While they did clean the baseboards, blinds, shutters, etc., it was what happened next that turned everything sour. As I went to close my planation blinds, two louver slats were disconnected from the tilt bar. It was not broken before they came in and cleaned. I called the owner, Norma Trevizo, and she came out to look. As Norma fiddled with the plantation shutters to take pictures, another one broke. She said she would investigate and call me within a week. She later said she would not cover the damage. I want my real wood plantation shutters repaired.

I immediately went to see the client regarding her complaint. When I was at her house, she showed me the damage she is accusing us of and another piece of her shutters broke in front of us both. We did not do anything major to cause it to break and we honored an expired coupon.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
