Masonry Company Repairs Broken and Cracking Bricks
Several areas of Franklin, Tennessee, Angie’s List member Mel K.’s masonry needed attention to repair cracks and broken bricks. According to his Page of Happiness-nominated review, Mel says his home had five damaged areas. “Some [of the damages] were ground level and some were over 30 feet off the ground,” Mel says.
To complete the work, Mel hired highly rated ML Webb Masonry of Madison, Tennessee. He says their price covered many things, including labor, materials, debris removal and disposal. “The final cost matched the quote and there were no issues,” Mel says.
According to Mel, most of the work included cutting out broken bricks and re-laying closely matching bricks in their place. They also did tuckpointing on a majority of the repaired areas. He says they set the keystone over the front door back in place.

Mel says they finished the work in three days, and that the second and third days were to allow the mortar to dry. “It went awesome,” Mel says. “It looks as good as new.”
