Loveland homeowner remodels 17-year-old bathroom
Seventeen years after moving into their Loveland, Ohio, home, Angie’s List member Barbara Del Greco and her husband, Joseph, decided to take action on their bathroom.
“We felt we were ready to change up the look of the bathroom,” she says. “We had never remodeled the bathroom previously.”
The pair then searched Angie’s List for contractors and found highly rated JK Best Construction, also in Loveland.
“We chose JK Best because we felt most comfortable with them in terms of explaining the process, the time frame to complete the work and overall cost,” she says.
JK Best Construction completely remodeled the bathroom. They removed all the existing fixtures, tub, shower, cabinets and carpeting.
Del Greco says the crew informed them about each day’s progress. She says they were also very courteous and careful to protect her bedroom furniture as they transported fixtures during the project.
The only surprise while JK performed the work came when they discovered they needed to reinforce a support beam in the floor. However, Del Greco says the company thoroughly explained to her why they needed to perform the extra work and how they calculated the increased cost.
JK installed new cabinets, an enclosed glass share with tiled walls and tile flooring in the new bathroom. The total cost of the project was about $40,000.
Del Greco says she enjoys the finished project.
“Our favorite part of the project was just seeing it all come together,” she says, “and to realize how much nicer our bathroom looks.”
