Loganville pest control company issues refund to homeowner

I hired Breda Pest Management of Loganville, Georgia, because I had a major spider problem. The first technician who sprayed said the treatment would solve the problem, but the spiders are still here.

I was told if spiders weren’t gone after two weeks, they would spray again for free. When I called to tell them I still had spiders, the man who said he was in charge said they would not spray again for free. They also sprayed directly on the bed sheets and window frames, which partially smeared the glass. The technician seemed to be hurried, and resented my asking him to cover unsprayed areas.

When I told him I would report this to Angie’s List, he said he didn’t care. I want a full refund of $85.

The person that took the call believed your account was a one-time service. You are a quarterly customer and we will come back to spray. But it’s our opinion that the problem is not with spiders.

I know you have had four companies come to your home and neither could determine a spider problem or find anything. We suspect dust mites or some type of mite. The encasements on the bed have been compromised since they are torn and it is our recommendation that they be replaced with Mattress Safe or Protect-a-Bed encasements.

The other encasements sold on the market tear too easily and once they are torn, they are completely compromised. If you would like us to supply monitors, we can do that.
