Lawn service grows discontent in unhappy customer

Lawn service grows discontent in unhappy customer

COMPLAINT: George Gibson, Fishers, Ind.

"I was treating my yard for tall fescue and I hired Stavros Lawn Service in Indianapolis to help me kill it off. They told me the plant wasn't tall fescue but rather yellow nutsedge. They treated my yard with a pesticide, but this did not kill it and I feel it was misdiagnosed.

"I'm unable to reseed this area as my lawn care company said the chemical meant the yard would not take new seed this fall and I'd need to wait until the fall of 2011 to reseed. I have documents from my lawn care company that clearly show that nutsedge was never in the lawn and that the tall fescue, which may look similar to nutsedge, was the only problem present."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I want my $299 payment returned."
