Las Vegas kitchen cabinet installer resolves homeowner complaint
The cabinets were damaged even before they were out of the boxes. It was installed poorly as well. Some of the doors are warped, and one of the drawers was already bubbling and starting to peel. The cabinets are made out of fiberboard, not wood. They're not going to hold 400 pounds of granite from the countertop. I told them that if they'd told me what the cabinets were made of, we wouldn't be having this conversation. The designer said that it was a special finish, but it's really just covered in a thin sheet of vinyl, that has a tendency to peel.
When they installed the cabinets, there was a gaping 3-inch hole between the top of the cabinet and the wall. The surrounding for the fridge isn't the right size, so they shoved my new, large fridge in and scraped the sides.
I would like them to either install the appropriate cabinets or remove them and provide a refund.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
