Las Vegas client says pool service company bailed out
I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal from Desert Palm Pool Service in Las Vegas for an annual pool service agreement. On two consecutive occasions in 2013, they didn’t come out for their scheduled service. I called them twice regarding it.
The pool hasn’t been usable for a long time because of this. I’ve called them every day and left messages on their machine, and still received no response. I’m going to be out of town soon, and really need to have the pool serviced again.
I paid $699 for the one-year deal, and they only did work for six months. Since they provided service for half a year, I would like a refund of half my payment, $350.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
