Broke a promise to Teresa Griffin that they would replace dead sod or issue a refund.

COMPLAINT: Teresa Griffin, Norwood, Pa.
"I hired Extreme Landscaping to resod my backyard, grind a stump and trim two trees. I also purchased a one-year maintenance contract.
"The initial work went well, but they never told me how to take care of the new sod. I called the following Monday, and owner Dan Del Grippo told me to soak the sod for 20 minutes every day for two weeks. I did so, but every area of sod has at least one dead spot."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like the dead sod replaced or a refund to match the cost of having it replaced."
RESPONSE: Dan Del Grippo, co-owner, Extreme Landscaping
"I will replace within three weeks the dead sod that was not caused by the two large dogs living in the small backyard area."
