Lake Worth roofer’s work doesn’t hold water, homeowner says
I hired Ametco Metal Roofing in Lake Worth, Florida, to completely reroof the flat roof on my home about five years ago. A few years after the job, the roof started to leak, so I called the company. They said the plywood underneath was bad, so they replaced it and patched the roof. But recently, the roof started leaking again, as well as blistering and separating. The owner said he would call when someone was coming to look at it, but I missed his call. When I returned his call the next day, he said he was too shorthanded to send someone. He hasn’t returned any calls since then.
I want them to do the job again.

Editor’s note: The member reported that the company fixed the leak, but wouldn’t fix the blistering and separating.
Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
