K.C.-area company brings new life to painted kitchen cabinets
Member Mary Silverstein recently hired Barry Craft Painting of Belton, Mo., to sand, prime and paint 25 cabinet doors and panels.
Here’s what Silverstein had to say about her experience:
“Owner Harley [Barry] came to measure and look at the work in detail. He asked questions and gave information about the procedure that I hadn’t even considered. He took one cabinet door and painted it so I could see what it would look like. I didn’t originally like the first color, but Harley had no problem making a change to another color or when I decided to go back to the first color later. He was patient with my decision-making process. I wanted a smooth finish with minimal grain showing. He was able to accomplish that look even though my cabinets had a heavy grain. He worked on the cabinets every day and the job was finished by the deadline. The cabinets look great and I couldn’t be happier with the overall result.”
