Kansas City color consultant picks out paint colors
"I was standing on the porch with my color deck, and the owner came to the door," Alexander says. "Her expression said it all. She said, 'Can I help you?' but it was in a 'What the heck are you doing here?' kind of way."

Description of work "It was a relief to find Paul Helmer [the owner]. My fiance and I have a 1920s bungalow, and we wanted the perfect exterior color scheme for the period of our proud home. We drove through neighborhoods, and I even went as far as taking color decks onto someone's porch to try to match the color. Contrary to the homeowner being flattered, I think she about called the police on me. When we finally found a home with colors that spoke to us - near the Harry S. Truman home - I sheepishly knocked on their door, and to our delight, the homeowner gave us Paul's name."
Member comment "I found Paul's website and called to schedule an appointment. Once he arrived, he began to formulate a plan and pick the colors. He sketched the home and created a paint-by-numbers plan we could follow. After searching for months, we could finally buy paint."
