Interior designer provides the 'wow factor'

Interior designer provides the 'wow factor'

Jill Lewis, an Angie's List member from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., recenty hired Barbara Brickell Designs of nearby Pompano Beach for an interior design project. Among other things, Barbara Brickell Designs helped coordinate contractors and choose paint colors.

Here is what Lewis had to say about the experience:

“Barbara has a depth of interior design experience and listens to the client. She took my comments and added her knowledge to come up with a design, furniture and accessories that were within my budget. She gives you choices, so if you want to spend a little more or a little less in one area, you have options.

"My explicit desire was to have a blue accent wall downstairs. Barbara chose a blue that added a “wow” factor when you walked into the home. She managed the whole project, and coordinated the furniture delivery, painters and electricians. She even made trips to several stores to pick up items. While the final cost was slightly less than $10,000, I feel the value of the home increased by more than $10,000. I’m absolutely thrilled with Barbara’s work.”
