Indianapolis plumber clears difficult clog in drain
Indianapolis plumbing report
Description of plumbing work: "They snaked my drain pipe and replaced pipes."
Member comments: "My kitchen sink was clogged, so I called a plumber from the Yellow Pages. It took him four hours to snake the line and he eventually ended up cutting it, spilling sludge all over my basement walls and floor.
He charged me $350 and that was a discount because I was his 'helper!' I was literally helping him doing the cleanup and running up and down the stairs to turn the water off and on.”
"The drain clogged again two weeks later - this was not Hope Contracting. I called Jack Hope [the owner] and he was at my house in an hour. He and his assistant had the drain functioning within an hour and recommended replacing the existing 1 1/2-inch pipe with new 2-inch pipe.
"He quoted me $350 to replace all the pipes, including the drain he already snaked. They replaced it all in about 2 hours. They were kind, intelligent and courteous."
"Jack went above and beyond by spending 30 minutes reinstalling the ceiling tiles the first plumber removed. It was unexpected but really appreciated. I've never had much success finding an outstanding plumber - Jack Hope is!"
